By Ferry:

The Isle of Lewis is served by Calmac ferries via Ullapool direct to Stornoway, and via Tarbet on the Isle of Harris from Uig on Skye.

Knock (Point) is to the east of Stornoway past the airport across a causeway known as the Braighe (pronounced Br-y).

From Stornoway or the ferry port, follow the signs for the airport until you leave Stornoway, then drive straight past the airport across the Braighe. At the other side of the Braighe you will see Knock Community Shop (Buth an Rubha), keep on the main road. After a short distance you will see a road sign for Knock/Swordale, take this turning to the right (single track road), then take the first road to the right. Seascape Cottage is the second house on the right.

By Air:

Leaving the airport at Stornoway you will come to a roundabout. Drive straight on until the T-junction. At the junction turn left onto the Briaghe, then follow the directions as above.
